He just won't give up!

Once again, we were off to the Doggie School tonight. Not too bad, I got to just hang out in one of the big suites and watch a bunch of rookie dogs do their lessons.
There were a couple big boydogs that kept wanting to come over and see me, but there'd be none of that! Those guys gonna have to learn that school time isn't play time.

Then after they all left, Dad came and got me and had me all workin' hard again!!! What the heck is the deal here!?!???? All this walk around and heel, then sit-stayin'.... phooey! Right in the middle of it all, Dad hands my lead to some strange lady, and.....get this..... he goes outside!!! Without me!!!! For, like, THREE MINUTES! So, I just kinda sat there and watched the other dogs doing their things. Dad musta been glad to see me when he came back though, because he gave me all kinds of cheers and a couple yummies too! What can I say, he loves me!

All in all, it wasn't too bad tonight. I got lots of cheers and lovies, and a good bunch of yummies! And, I learned a new thing to do! Dad calls it a "finnish".... All I gots to do is sit down in front of him and then walk beside him, turn around, and sit next to him. It sure does make him excited, and of course that means lots of yummies and lovies! I love it when I can make him so excited that he wants to give my yummies. And I sure do love dem lovies!

but I hope he gets this whole school thing outta his system soon..... I hate showin' off all the time.

Heel Schmeel

Alright.

I

Have

Had

It.

Done.

Game Over.

Dad has it in his head that not only does he expect me to be all perfect and wonderful and all that phooey while we're at the Doggie School and at baseball.....but now he's actually tryin' to boss me around at home!!!!!!

Just what kind of j-u-n-q-u-e is THAT!?!?????

He goes and pulls out the leash this afternoon. I'm all over that.... WALKIES!!!!! But, oh NO! It's not for me... it's for The Quincy. So BooBoo goes and drags her around, while Dad does and puts my traffic lead on me! Crap. And he proceeds to go prancing all around the front yard expecting me to keep a heel --get this-- at home! What a barge load of poop!

A large barge.

Full.

And to top it off, I'm supposed to keep all attentive to him and be all stuck to his knee while the kid and Bubble Girl (Quincy is really gone over the rainbow...she's in her own world most of the time, so Mom and Dad call her Bubble Girl. She just kinda floats around in her happy place most of the time.) are all wandering around in front of me!

Poop.

Gonna have to take Dad to the Vet or switch his food or something if this behavior doesn't self-extinguish....

Baseball been berry good to me...and my boy!

Another baseball game tonight. Playoffs. Big game. This time there was no smelly puppy. No big sister (she stayed home 'cause Dad says he's tired of having to deal with both of us when BooBoo goes to the playground, and she doesn't like it anyways). Just me and my chewie! Aaaahhhhhh..... life's good. Oh, and my tennis ball!!!!! Life's very good!

The bestest part is that my boy's team won! I'm bein' one happy pup! That means more baseball next week. Hope The Quincy stays home again...

Of course, as I sit here doing my bloggie stuff, the before-mentioned sister is stealing my gooey, soft, wonderful chewie. Oh well, I get to have her unchewed chewie now! hee hee hee More for the Gracie!

Gotta go chomp now!

Baseball and a smelly pup

Apparently, it's not enough that I had to go to the Dog School two times this week, and work all so hard and stuff.... I also had to go to baseball last night and show off being all wonderful and good and perfect and all that guff!!! I couldn't even just be a regular dog! Gak!

On the other paw, I met a little baby English Bulldog that some other people just got a week or so ago! He really is cute, but he smells funny and barks all high-pitched and stuff! We got along pretty well, even though he stole one of my tennis balls. Ah, the price a girl pays to be all nice and perfect and behaved and stuff...

I work hard for the kibble...

Sheesh!

Two.... count them, TWO days in a row now I've had to go to the Dog School and be all supremely well-behaved and show off what a wonderful good girl I am. I'm exhausted!

And it's like all the same thing over and over.... sit, down, stay, down, sit, stay, come..... gimme a break! At least Dad took the good yummies. He sure must have been excited about being able to give me treats!

Dad said I don't have to go back to the school until next Monday, which is like sometime next spring or something I think. So at least it's all over now, and we can get back to the business of laying around on the couch and making sure that The Quincy's bowl really is empty. Yep.... nothing but lazin' around for a looooooooong time now!

Gracie goes back to school....and WORK!

Holy Crap!

Daddy done went and did it this time!

Dad said I was gonna go back to school because the lady at the Dog School said that all the trainer people's doggies should get something called a Sea Gee Sea. Well, by golly...he really meant it! And to make things even more Holy Crap worthy, he made me work too!!!!

Ya see.... People love to give out goodies so much, and it's indeed possible to teach them to give out treats without even making them work a clicker! And my Dad teaches people when it's time for them to give out snackies. You know, like when their doggie sits, that's a sign that it's time to hand them a yummy. Just like when I make Dad click the clicker!

So, off we went to the Dog School. First just hung out while Dad and the other teacher people talked a lot. Then, I got to go over and hang out while Dad talked some more. Not too exciting, but Daddy thought it was cool. He said I was bein' a demmo dog. But since nothing blew up, I don't know what that's all about.

Then the people left, and more people showed up with their doggies. Pretty cool! I got to meet some new doggies, but didn't have much time to socialize. Daddy kept wanting to go for little walks and all sorts of other silly little routines. I think he had too much soda before the school time and had to potty a lot, because he left me with another of the people a couple times and went outside. He was gone for a long time too! Next time, I'll remind him not to have so much to drink before the school time. It's embarrassing!

I'm SUCH a good girl!

Last night, Daddy couldn't sleep. So, being always up to get up and go downstairs, I went with him. We were just sitting around, and all of a sudden, Daddy pulls out my clicker!!! I know what that means!!!!!!!! YYYYYYYYYYeeeeeeeHaaaaaawwwwwwwww!!!!!

I got him to make the noise for all sorts of things! I sat down, he clicked, and gave me some yummies!!!! I laid down, he clicked! I sat, he clicked.... you get it. And I got yummies every time he clicked! I LOVE the way I can make him do that, and how he likes to do it so much that he gives out treats every single time!!!!

So, tonight we go off to The Rick's baseball practice. Dad and I went over to the playground with The Boo-Boo. We walked around a lot. He really likes it when I walk all next to him, so I indulged him a bit. Then we went up on some really scary metal steps and around some metal walkway thingies. It was strange and scary at first, but Dad was so happy that I took him up there, he got out the venison yummies again! How can I deprive him of that much happiness!?!???

Then Dad got this strange idea that it'd be fun for him if I sat or laid down and waited while he walked away. A long way away, but waited until he stopped and turned around and called my name. (I think he got scared being so far away from me, that's why he'd stop and call to me). Then I'd go running up to him way fast (so I'd get there fast and he'd stop being scared), and sit down in front of him. He was sure happy to no be scared anymore! He'd laugh and scratch me and give me kisses and tell me what a good girl I am (duh), and give me even more yummies!

It's so nice to have such a well trained Daddy!
