Super Walkies!

Today we all went-ed to a big giant doggie walk! Daddy's been plannin' this for a while now, and was all excited about it. We were suppose-ed to meet up wif our Dog Scout Troop, but we gotted there a little later than they did, and didn't find them. Not surprising though, because there were TONS of peoples and doggies there!!! Some were all dress-ed up, some were casual, like me. I wore my pink camo collar and my US War Dogs Association bandana. Most stylish!
It was all sorts of a big deal.

So, here's me and Dad at the finish up line.

I was such a good girl all day! It was real hard to behave like a wonderful good girl wif so much behinds to sniff and stuff, but I did it!

I wasn't all wild about the loud man talking about the dogs who were doing dock diving, or the other loud guy yapping about the agility stuff, but I just stuck close to Mommy and Dad, and made sure that Boo Boo didn't haf no troubles wif any of them other dogs. Gotta watch out for my family!

Dad and I raise-ed $100 for the Kalamazoo Humane Society. It's not much, but it isn't an empty kong either, so I'm sure it will help! I didn't come from there, but I did come from a rescue who got-ed me and my litter from a Humane Society in Akron, Ohio. Then we went-ed for a long ride to Kalamazoo, and then my Dad finally came-ed to get me and take me home! So I'm all for helping out whenever I can for peoples who help dogs get to their homes when they are in a wrong place. I hope these other dogs (and cats) get to their homes soon!

I was all tired out after our real long walkies, so I sleep-ed all the way home! Then I sleep-ed more at home. Mom and I played cow a little, but I think I was still all tired, so we quitt-ed and I sleeped some more. It was a really tiring day, but a really good day!

Nite nite ;>

It's good to be two!

Not long after I turned two, Mommy and Daddy started sperimenting wif letting my crate door opened at night time when we went-ed to sleep. I've mostly still sleep-ed in my crate, 'cept for a couple nights I gets up and go to the couch. Daddy says it's because I've been such a good girl and he thinks that I can be all trusted. I've been all really careful to not do something that is not trusted, and it's paying off!!!

Daddy got-ed me a NEW BED!

It's all like the one that The Quincy had, only red instead of purple. I still sleeps in the crate most of the time though. So Mommy thought it would be nice if they could rearrange things so that there was more room in our bedroom, maybe even bring my really big crate upstairs (my new bed doesn't fit in my bed crate so well) and put my new bed in the humungo crate.

Daddy has been thinkin' abouts it for a while now (I can hear the hamster wheel turnin' in his head), and today he finally did some measuring and moving stuff around.... Sadly my ginormous crate just isn't gonna fit upstairs, but he move-ed my bedtime crate over by his side of their bed, put-ed my new bed where my crate was, and put-ed his bookshelfs out in the hall!

When he was all done, he called me upstairs and we had a happy dance and lovie party!!! I likes it! Maybe I'll start sleeping on my new bed more now!

In which I'm all naughty

So, tonight Mommy and I go outside to play cow. It was all fun and stuff, until something bad happened.

Something back in the trees made me all temptated, and I was all afraidy that there was gonna be a squirrel attack or something, so I went-ed to vestigate. Mommy was all calling be, but I just HAD to go and make sure that she wasn't being all in danger or stuff!!!

Next thing I know, the Daddy is outside calling me. Now, I may be a silly girldog sometimes, but I sure know that when the Daddy calls, he really needs me. So I went-ed back up to the house.

Daddy was not all impressed wif my brave vestigating the maybe squirrel attack or something. And it seems that I was attacked by sticky twig thingies while I was being protective! Yikes!!!

See how much all tired out I look from being so protective and brave!?!????

I had to spend all kinds of time while Daddy got the sticky thingies out of my hairs before he'd let me come into the house. And then the Momma was all scoldy and not happy wif the Gracie! What a gyp! I was being all tective of her and she's all uppity because I forgot-ed to come back when she was called to me!

At least she gave-ed me some lovies before she went-ed to her bed!

Workin' hard!

Ack!!!

The Gracie has been working very much hard the past couple days!

Daddy has been out wif me playing walk all nice at a heel, and making me think real hard by working on my sits while we're walking. Then he goes and keep on walking! What the heck!?!?!!!

Sometimes he comes back. Sometimes he makes me do push ups. Sometimes I get to go to him and do my pretty fronts or finishes.

What the heck is he thinking!?!???? It's all making my brain tired, that's for sure! This had better not be a trend!

At least we get to play cow after he gets tired of making me be all show-off-y. ;>

Cow Season

It's all nice and warm. Well, not the past couple days, but in general it is. And with the warmer weather, melting away of the snow, budding of trees and all that spring time junk, the bestest time of year is starting up.... COW SEASON!!!!!

I'm so so so so so so so so so so so SO excited to get out there and play cow!!! I've even managed to get Daddy trained to keep a cow in the car, so when we're waiting for the kids to get out of school, we can go into the field and play cow. No forgetting it at home, no excuses!

And, I've managed to let him think it's his idea to go out back and play cow every evening after the dinner time! That's at least TWO times a day we play cow!!!

Gracie is a genius!

Baths Stink!

Helloooooo Everydoggie!

Did you miss the Gracie?

Things have been wacky here, but I've finally got time to be writing more again! Yippie!!!!

Here's the rundown on yesterday's Gracieness:

Mommy take-ed me out to play cow (that's my flying thingie people throw and I catch and bring back and stuff....it's got moo cow spots on it, so it's my cow), but I decided that I needed to head down back and check out the spring time what's the rabbits and deers and stuff doin'? So Mom had Daddy come out and make sure I realized that she was really calling ME.

Then Dad give-ed me a BATH!!!! Yeech!
He must have been really bad about my going down back....

But later, after dinner, Daddy and Boo Boo took-ed a walk wif me. We went-ed to the school place nearby, and I got to play cow some more. Dad made me work some, but it was good! I haven't work-ed much this winter, so I'm ready!

There was another dog there..... a Huckskee, but I 'nored him. I mean.... I was PLAYING COW!!!! No time for Huckskees when I can play cow!

After we got home and Mommy took Boo Boo up to his bed, Daddy and I work-ed some more! He gotted out the clicker and some good yummies, and I knew it was ON! Then when he gotted out the target stick, I was all excited! I LOVE playing with the target stick!!!!!
Dad got all confuse-ed though, and wasn't working the clicker when I'd touch the ball wif my nose. So I stomped it with my paw, and he got all excited! Now he's clicking and givin' me yummies) like mad when I stomp the target ball. Seriously, sometimes it takes so little to get him all excited. Humans are such stilly aminals!

More to come tonite or tomorrow morning. I'm gonna see if I can score some yummies by playing wif the target some more!
